David M. Hagel, DDS
Dr. David M. Hagel has provided the highest quality dental care since 1979. He grew up in Yakima, WA and completed his undergraduate at Central Washington University. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Washington, Seattle, WA. He started his practice in Kirkland, Wa in 1980.
To stay abreast of the latest advancements in dentistry, Dr. Hagel maintains professional memberships with the American Dental Association and Washington State Dental Association and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Hagel has been a wind surfer for many years; sailing at Hood River in the Columbia River Gorge. He is an avid downhill skier and recently took up classic cross country and skate skiing with his wife, Robyn.They are both avid cyclists and participate in many organized cycling events. In addition to serving as a dental hygienist, Robyn also helps with the practice management of both offices.
Dr. Hagel and Robyn have a blended family. Dr.Hagel's two children are Lauren and Alex. Lauren is currently a senior majoring in biology at Willamette University and is thinking about a career in dentistry. Alex is a freshman at Gonzaga University majoring in history and political science. He is interested in a career in law. Robyn has two children: Devon and Ryan. Devon went to Parsons School of Design in New York City. She currently lives in San Francisco and is a concept artist for George Lucas' special effects company Industrial Light and Magic. Ryan went to Seattle University as a history major. He is liviing in Seattle and is currently taking classes at a film school exploring the creative side of the family. The family is very fond of animals having two Golden Doodles and 2 cats. Devon's dog Wally is on semi-permanent holiday at the Hagel household!
May Y. Huang, DDS
Dr. May Huang was born and raised in Taiwan. Her family immigrated to the United States when she was in high school. She went to UCLA for her undergraduate study and received a Bachelor Degree in Biological Sciences. She went on to the UCLA School of Dentistry and graduated in 1993. After dental school, Dr. Huang had one year of additional hopsital dentistry training as a general practice resident at Rancho Los Amigos Medical Center in Los Angeles County. During this time she mainly treated medically compromised and handicapped patients,
Dr. Haung has been in private practice since moving to Seattle in 1995 with her husband Lee. She has been an associate dentist at Dr. Hagel's office since 2002. She now focuses her practice on family and preventive dentistry.
Dr. Huang and her family live in Bellevue. She and her husband have two teenage daughters. They also have a Norwich Terrier named Mochi. Her family enjoys living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and appreciate what it has to offer. In her spare time, Dr. Huang enjoys gardening, reading, dining out, cooking, and traveling.
